Dear Colleagues,It is great pleasure for me to announce that the 8-th European FTMS conference will be held in Moscow (Russia) on August, 28 - September, 1, 2007. The Conference will be held at the Institute of Bio-Chemical Physics (IBCP) of Russian Academy of Science. The Institute is located on Vorobiovy Hills, very beautiful place not far away from Moscow historical center. Nearby are a city park on the bank of the Moskva river, Moscow State University, and Headquarters of Russian Academy of Science. On behalf of local committee Evgenij Nikolaev.
It is great pleasure for me to invite you to attend 8th European FTMS conference held in Moscow, Russia during August 28 - September 1 2007. Conference will held at the Institute of Biochemical Physics (IBCP) of Russian Academy of Science. This institute is situated on Vorobievy Hills (very famous and popular among tourists place not far away (approx. 5 kilometers) from the center of the Moscow on the bank of Moscow river and directly between Moscow State University and Presidium of Russian Academy of Science. Moscow Moscow, the capital of Russia, was founded in 1147 by prince Yuri Dolgoruky as a fortress on the bank of the Moskva river. Within over 850 years of its history Moscow has developed into the one of the largest cities of the world with a territory of almost 1000 sq. km and a population of about 11 million. Its numerous historic and contemporary buildings as well as the location as traffic center (9 railway stations and 4 airports) enables Moscow to be the most important tourist town in Russia. It is the economic, political and cultural centre of Russia, the seat of the Russian government. There are a lot of inland and foreign companies, educational and cultural institutions in the city. Moscow is famous for its architectural and cultural monuments of world significance: the Kremlin (15-17th centuries) - the former residence of the Russian tzars is considered to be one of the most beautiful architectural ensembles in the world, the St.Basil`s Cathedral (1551-1561) - the masterpiece of Russian architecture is located on the Red Square, the Lenin Mausoleum and Manezh (Central Exhibition Hall). Moscow is well-known thanks to its theatres and museums. The Bolshoy Theatre (1776) - one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Historical Museum, the ancient estate Kolomenskoye (14th century) - one of the residences of the Russian princes and tsars, the Kuskovo estate (18th century) are among them. The Moscow metro is one of the most beautiful in the world.![]() Place. Conference will held at the Institute of Chemical (Biochemical) Physics of Russian Academy of Science. All oral sessions will be held in the main conference hall of IBCP. Exhibitions and coffee-brakes will be located in lobby in IBCP. Posters will be located in main building of ICP -historical building - country of Dmitriev-Mamontov. The member registration of 8-th European FTMS conference will be located in the main Lobby of the Institute of Bio-Chemical Physics (ICBP) of Russian Academy of Science. All oral sessions will be held in the Conference Hall of the IBCP. Exhibitions and coffee-brakes will be located in the Lobby at the IBCP. Poster sessions will be held in the Main Building of the Institute of Chemical Physics, located nearby. |
